Teenagers in this day in age are very brand conscious and it definitely  has gotten bigger because most teenagers want to have name brand clothes shoes and accessories. So when a brand or company comes out with something new every kid wants it because others have it and then it becomes a big trend, then other companies make a similar product but for cheaper and that is where people go crazy because some kids have cheap parents and buy them the off brand product then there friends have the name brand and it goes in to a cycle.

The pain of paying gets worse when you pay in cash because you can actually see the cash leaving your hands where as paying with your credit or debit card where you cant actually see the money leaving your account. Companies may use this knowledge so they can get you to spend more but you’ll think you are not spending that much.
